Managing Director of the F1 Academy, Susie Wolff is an inspirational sports personality known for her entrepreneurial skills and leadership in championing diversity and inclusion. She is renowned for her commitment to increasing the intake of women in motorsport and has been honoured as an MBE for her contributions.
Reaching the pinnacle of her motor racing career, Susie made history at the 2014 British Grand Prix where she became the first woman to take part in an F1 race weekend in 22 years.
Retiring from action behind the wheel in 2015, Susie made a personal commitment to increase the intake of women in motorsport across all areas. This led to the launch of her highly successful Dare To Be Different initiative in collaboration with the UK Motorsport Governing Body and the Motor Sports Association. Following the mission’s success, Dare To Be Different united with the FIA Girls on Track programme to reach a wider audience and continue to raise awareness of the opportunities for women and girls in motorsport.
In her first formal move into team management and ownership, Susie was appointed Team Principal and shareholder of FIA Formula E team ROKiT Venturi Racing in 2018 before being promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2021.
On March 1, 2023, Susie was appointed as the Managing Director of the F1 Academy, the all- female driver category that aims to develop and prepare young female drivers to progress to higher levels of competition.
